MONTAGE
Cold Open — No Talking, Pure Energy
Drone
Wide
Close-up
Insert
"This is built last. After everything is shot — pull the 8 best frames from the whole video and cut them to music. No talking. Just Polaris."
Shots Drone over campus → Lab equipment closeup → Students laughing → Drone arm spinning → Cafeteria energy → Sports ground → Gamer's realm neon glow → Polaris logo tilt-up
DOP All hard cuts. No transitions. Each cut lands on a beat. Aim for 8 cuts in 35 seconds — avg 4 seconds per shot
Audio High energy track with clear beat drop. No dialogue. Sound effects optional (drone whirr, keyboard click, crowd hum)
Editor BUILD THIS LAST. Assemble full video first, then pick the top 8 visually stunning shots for this montage

TRACKING WALK
Campus Entry — Host Introduction
Tracking
Wide
Medium
"Welcome to Polaris School of Technologies shiny new campus. We're starting our tour right here on the ground floor, aka where the magic and occasional mischief begins."
Shots Host walking toward camera (wide) → Host turns to camera mid-walk (medium) → Campus signage tilt-up (low angle)
DOP Gimbal tracking. Host should NOT be stationary. Start mid-walk — instantly signals energy and movement
Action Host energy = excited friend, not tour guide. Natural smile, not rehearsed. One take should feel like discovery
Ground Floor
Reception · Classrooms · Breakout · Innovation Lab
SEG 02
1:00 – 1:30
30 seconds
WIDE → MEDIUM
Reception — "Future Vibes Hit You"
Wide
Medium
Insert
"Step inside and boom. Future vibes hit you like a software update. This place screams, 'We're techie and we know it.' It's been designed to inspire young geniuses."
Shots Reception wide establishing → PST signage/logo insert → Host at reception desk (medium) → Merchandise display close-up
DOP Shoot the signage with a slow tilt-up or pull-focus. The first interior shot sets the visual language — make it feel premium
Detail Capture the Polaris merchandise section — hoodie close-up, PST branding. Insert shots of merch feel authentic and relatable to students
SEG 03
1:30 – 2:00
30 seconds
MEDIUM WIDE
Wellness Section — Holistic Student Care
Medium
Insert
"At PSTU, we don't just care about your coding skills. We take care of all your needs — mental wellness, physical wellness, snack wellness, you name it."
Shots Wellness zone wide → Host pointing out different sections → Close-ups of wellness features/decor
DOP Soft lighting preferred. If natural light is available near this zone, use it — warmth = wellness visually
Tip Keep this segment quick. It's a supporting beat, not a hero. 30 seconds max. The big moments come later
SEG 04
2:00 – 2:55
55 seconds
OVER-SHOULDER
Radial Classroom — The Fireside Chat Room
Wide
Medium
Tracking
"Welcome to the radial classroom where you'll get cozy fireside chats with the CTO, CEO, and industry bigwigs. It's got that international university vibe. Because if you're going to binge on knowledge, might as well do it in style."
Shots Classroom wide (capture the circular layout) → Camera slowly rotates around the room → Host sits in a seat, looks up at the "speaker spot" → Insert: projector/screen
DOP The circular arrangement is the visual hook. Get an overhead shot if possible (stand on a chair / use a pole). This room should feel intimate, not lecture-hall
Key Point This is the first moment where PST feels different from a typical college. Make the edit linger here slightly longer than previous segments
SEG 05
2:55 – 3:15
20 seconds
CORRIDOR WALK
Admin Corridor — The Counselors Block
Wide
Tracking
"Step out and here's the massive corridor leading us to the admin block. This is where counselors live, the real MVPs. You'll be dragged here for those serious 'let's talk about your future' moments with your parents."
Shots Corridor wide (use vanishing point — long corridor looks cinematic) → Host walking mid-corridor toward camera → Admin block signage insert
DOP This is a transition segment — keep it quick. One beautiful corridor shot (low angle, host walking away from camera into the corridor) is enough. 20 seconds of airtime
SEG 06
3:15 – 3:50
35 seconds
MEDIUM + INSERT
Media Block — Creator's Lounge
Medium
Wide
Insert
"We're now in the media block. Peep that creator's lounge. At PST, we're all about encouraging your 'maybe I'll become a tech content creator' dreams. Because let's face it, 4 years is a long time to just code. Might as well have a hobby that looks good on Instagram."
Shots Creator's Lounge wide → Ring light / studio setup close-up → Host looks into the camera setup with a grin → Filming equipment inserts
DOP If there's a ring light or studio setup — turn it ON and shoot through it. Glowing ring light = instant cinematic quality
Tone Host should be slightly playful here. This segment should feel lighter than the classroom segment. Gen-Z tone is fine
SEG 07
3:50 – 5:00
70 seconds
WIDE + INSERTS
Breakout Area + Gamer's Realm
Wide
Close-up
Insert
Medium
"This is the hot spot for students needing a break from endless coding marathons. All those games — there for one reason: procrastinate in the healthiest way possible. AR VR games. And then — the Gamer's Realm. Dark, neon lit haven. Heaven for gamers and coders alike."
Shots Breakout wide → Games wall close-ups → Host trying VR headset (golden shot — must capture reaction) → Gamer's Realm: low angle, neon lit → Screens glowing insert
DOP Gamer's Realm: DO NOT add extra lighting. The natural neon glow is the aesthetic. Use a slightly longer exposure or boost ISO. Dark + neon = cinematic. Don't ruin it with a harsh LED panel
Must-Have Shot Host wearing VR headset, reacting. This is a shareable moment. Ensure you have a clean take of this — it's the thumbnail candidate for the Reels cut
Audio If gaming sounds are present naturally in the room — capture ambient audio. Don't dub it over. Real sounds add authenticity
SEG 08
5:00 – 5:50
50 seconds
WIDE + CANDID
Cafeteria — "Where Ideas Happen Over Food"
Wide
Medium
Close-up
"The cafeteria. Warm lighting, cozy vibes, and just enough hum to make it feel like home. Perfect for those long meal chats where you pretend to discuss class projects but really just gossip about who bunked last period."
Shots Cafeteria wide (capture full space and warm lighting) → Food counter close-ups → Students eating candid → Host picking up food / coffee → Social energy pan shot
DOP SHOOT DURING LUNCH RUSH. Empty cafeteria = missed opportunity. Real students eating = authenticity. Time this shoot for 12:30–1:30 PM
Food Shot Close-up of actual food being served or plated. A good food shot here cuts through algorithmically — people respond to it emotionally
Audio Keep natural cafe hum. Slight warm background music underneath. Don't over-produce this segment — cafeteria should feel real and messy
SEG 09
5:50 – 8:30
160 seconds ★ HERO SEGMENT
★ HERO SHOT
Innovation Lab — "The Wormhole"
Wide
Drone/Gimbal
Close-up
Insert x8
Tracking
"Now, let's step into the so-called innovation lab — or as we like to call it, the wormhole. When you walk in, it's like entering a whole new dimension. Robotics, drones, anything that sounds futuristic enough to make you feel like a tech wizard. PST doesn't do things half-heartedly. This lab is a symbol of our modern curriculum — learning by doing."
Shots Required ① Lab wide establishing ② Host entering lab (low angle, walks toward camera) ③ Drone on table close-up ④ Drone rotor spinning insert ⑤ Robotic arm close-up ⑥ AI/ML screen (code/model output) ⑦ Student hands on hardware ⑧ AR/VR rig ⑨ Host holding drone ⑩ Full lab overhead (stand on table)
DOP PRIORITY This segment gets the MOST shooting time on set. Minimum 30 minutes in this room. Capture everything. This is the video's reason to exist — don't rush it
Must-Have If the drone can actually fly indoors — capture it. A flying drone on screen is viral-capable. Coordinate with lab team in advance
Editor Note Break this into 3 visual sub-acts: ENTRY → EXPLORATION → SUMMARY. Change music energy for each. No shot longer than 4 seconds. This section should feel relentless
Audio Techy, cinematic. Trent Reznor / Hans Zimmer style. Build the energy progressively through this segment

SEG 10

WIDE + TRACKING
1st Floor — House of Disruptors
Wide
Tracking
Medium
Insert
"Welcome to the first floor — the house of disruptors. Here you'll dive deep into machine learning, AI, and all the fancy buzzwords you'll be dropping at parties later. From real industry experts, not just YouTube tutorials. Four massive classrooms — every student, even the ones in the back row, can see and hear. Mentor corners. Cohort rooms. And the corridor? It's basically an eternal loop."
Shots Staircase coming up to 1st floor (tracking) → Corridor wide (show the loop length) → Classroom interior (4-corner coverage) → AI/ML content on screens → Mentor corner setup → Cohort room (small group feel)
DOP The "eternal corridor" is a visual gag with real potential — shoot it with a steadicam walk from one end to the other. The length of the shot communicates the scale
Story Beat This floor is for the "ambitious ones" — the tone should shift here. Slightly more serious than the ground floor. Host energy = "okay this is where work happens"
Editor Intercutting between different classroom types works well here. Don't show all 4 classrooms the same way — vary the shot angle for each one to avoid visual repetition
2nd Floor
Wellness Area — Yoga · Aerobics · Holistic Growth
SEG 11
10:30 – 11:30

MEDIUM WIDE
2nd Floor — Wellness Area
Wide
Medium
Insert
"Welcome to the second floor — the wellness area. Your go-to spot to stretch, breathe, and pretend you're mastering yoga instead of just trying not to fall during the first pose. There's also aerobics here because apparently techies need to move, too. At PST, we're all about that holistic glow up."
Shots Wellness hall wide → Students in yoga (if session is happening — coordinate in advance) → Aerobics space → Host doing a (slightly failed) yoga pose — comedic moment → Space overview
DOP Natural light here if possible. Floor-level shots of yoga mats make the space feel larger. If it's an empty hall, add some yoga mats yourself for the shot
Tone Host's yoga joke is the light relief moment before the serious outro. Play it up slightly. This is the last "fun" beat before the CTA

Close Push-In
"So that's Polaris. But what makes this place work isn't the buildings — it's that every single thing here is designed around one question: what does it actually take to build something real? If you're someone who wants to build, not just study — this might be your place. PAT 2026 is now live. Comment PAT and we'll send you the link directly."
Shots Host at the best-looking spot on campus (Innovation Lab entrance or main gate) → Slow push-in on host as final line is spoken → End frame: Campus wide or Polaris logo
DOP Shoot this at golden hour if possible. The final frame of the video should be the most beautiful shot of the whole piece. Don't rush this
PAT CTA PAT 2026 must be on screen as text overlay + spoken by host. Add a static end card: "PAT 2026 is now live. Comment PAT and we'll send the link in your DM."
Editor End with a 10-second animated/static end card. Music fades slowly — don't hard cut. The final 20 seconds should feel like a movie ending, not a YouTube sign-off
